What to know before you call about a safe
Helpful details: the brand and model on the door, whether it uses a dial or keypad, roughly how big and heavy it is, whether it is bolted down, and what happens when you enter the code — dead keypad, beeping, or handle turns but the door won't open. Those clues usually tell us the exact fault and let us quote before we arrive. We ask for proof of ownership on every safe job.
A very common one: the keypad lights up but nothing moves. That is normally a failed solenoid or a slipped bolt linkage, not a lost combination — and it is a straightforward repair.
